I would like to find a 100% Scripter-bred mare for possible future riding and breeding. She can be between 14 - 15.2 hands. Age 3 -20 (if sound of wind and limb). Has to be colored but doesn't have to be spotted. Has to be "civilized" so I can handle her. "Dead broke" to ride would be wonderful but not necessary. I would prefer to trade for one of my unbroke young broodmares. I would even consider a free breeding by one of my stallions. Also looking for a mare for future breeding/riding with any of the following bloodlines: Esther, Snow Cloud, Missoula, Cheetah, Pine Ridge Reservation lines. Would love her to be line bred. No up-close QH. No Prince Plaudit, BEB or Wapiti breeding. Same criteria as above. |

A registered Appaloosa gelding, 5-8 years old.
Bloodlines really aren't that important, except all Appaloosa or QH/Appy
cross. I want Appaloosa color |

Well broke mare or gelding, any color that enjoys the trails. I need a horse that doesn't mind riding off alone. Must have good ground manners. Bloodlines are not a issue. Anything 15.1 or bigger between the ages of 5 and 15. $1300 is my max, or if you're not sure you are ready to sell yet but don't have time to spend with him/her, I will take them and cover feed, vet and farrier. Can furnish references. I have 5 acres pasture and new barn and an old navicular mare. Thanks. |

Looking for a suitable horse for an older, inexperienced, beginning rider. (grandma) She would like a "shuffler" or gaited horse as long, relaxing trail rides, with out bones being jarred around, is the goal. We want to have grandma come along. A horse 14.2 to 15 would be perfect as grandma is only 5'. She would like a mare, few-spot or leopards, or snowcap, but sweet tempered is the number one requirement--might be used as a broodmare if grandma backs-out. A gelding would be considered, too. Age of horse -- not too young, not too old. Don't have a lot of cash to spend, but perhaps a cash and a trade for one or both of our younger horses (we have a real sweet chocolate (bay) filly--I think she will roan-out and be about 15.2h-- and a bay yearling Welch X QH pony-colt for sale-should mature to about 13h.) or trade ?? |

Looking for an ICAA/ApHC registered or ICAA
eligible/ApHC registered well broke western type mare with some good "cowhorse"
breeding, with COLOR. I want to be able to use this mare for a
broodmare but she must also be well broke for trail riding in rough
mountain country. She must be willing to go anywhere I ask her to go
quietly and have the common sense to pick her way through "hairy"
situations. No spooks, no buck, no "hot" mares, no gaited or shuffling
mares. She must load and haul easily and quietly, stand patiently when
tied for however long she is tied, have a good disposition, good
manners, and be willing to be bathed, clipped and shod. She has to be
as good when she's turned out for a month as she is when she's ridden
every day. I am a very experienced rider, however I do not want one
that requires an experienced rider. She should be at least five years
old up to about ten. She must have good feet and bone, good
conformation and have good athletic ability as I may decide to train her
for cutting. Base color unimportant but she must have good Appaloosa
coat pattern. Must not be under 15 hands. She must be pretty to look
at or have a "ranch horse" look, no ugly heads and no skinny butts with
no chest, however sparse mane and tail okay. I realize it will be hard
to find all of these traits in one mare, however I do believe they are
out there and I am willing to wait until I find one. Please do not
contact me unless you have a mare with ALL of the above requirements.
Price dependent on the mare.
