ADDED March 16, 2005 The ICAA web site has down since 3/14 due to "missing navigation components." We are unsure exactly what happened, though our host was able to tell us that the site was "modified on 3/14" from outside their system ... which we found interesting since no one but Candace Brown had the password, and Candace's computer was in the repair shop from the10th to the 15th due to the hard drive crashing. Speaking of which, this also explains why the March 2005 Newsletter hasn't been released yet. It was almost done when the hard drive crashed. All data was lost. It will take some time to re-enter all the information since the last back-up had been done, so if Candace isn't Johnny-On-The-Spot with some details, please be patient. The spot moved. |

| ADDED October 7, 2004 We hear this from Dan McMillan of Enid, OK: "I showed my 8-year-old mare at the county fair, showing her in Halter. She won a blue ribbon in her class. We went ahead and showed in open show against and Arabian and a Quarter Horse mare. My mare, "Dreamer" F2-1893, is Garfield County Grand Champion Mare for 2004. "In the history of the Garfield County Fair (Oklahoma) only two Appaloosa mares have been Grand Champion. In 1998 "Nova" F2-1902 won the title and in 2004 Dreamer won the title for aged mares. These mares are half sisters -- and both belong to me. In 2003 "Duster" F3-2038 was Reserve Champion mare at three years of age. Duster is Dreamer's 2000 foal. "My mares have always seemed to do their very best for me and I am very proud of them!"

| ADDED July 19, 2004: Here's a photo that appeared in The White Oak Independent (TX) newspaper on June 10, 2004. Photo and newspaper page sent to us by Deanna Brown of Gladewater, TX.
"BACK TO THE PONY EXPRESS? -- Or possibly it's the new delivery unit at the White Oak Post Office. Actually, it's postal employee, Deanna Brown (right), on her Appaloosa, "Eagle ThundrN Toby" [F3-2312], with friend J.R. Hicks and his Quarter Horse, "Mischief," from the 4N Ranch. Hicks is training Brown's young stallion and decided to drop by on Deanna's lunch hour for a visit. Deanna is an avid horse enthusiast who owns a number of equines."
